He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Francis Berniece Coons (Myers); and his brothers, Nathan Coons and Myron Coons. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his sons, Chad Coons of Broken Bow, OK and Boyce; his daughter-in-law Melissa Coons of Tulley, OK; his stepchildren, Samantha Kane of Ottawa and JJ Kline of Lawrence; his grandchildren, Chyna Coons, PJ Belt, Haley Kline, Lucius Harrison and Lucia Torres; his great grandchild Hartley Dolbow; and his siblings, Claudia Bivins (Terry) of Lebo, Linda Fritzshall (Randy) of Overland Park, KS, Clyde Coons (Debbie) of Wellsville, Kevin Coons (Teri) of Wellsville and Curt Coons (Cheryl) of Overland Park. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
