He is survived by: his wife Katherine "Kathy" of Lindsborg; his sons, David Sommerfeld (Connie) of Assaria, KS and Mark Sommerfeld of Brookville, KS; his brother Ron Sommerfeld of Canton, KS; and his grandchildren, Natasha Lujan (Alex) of Waco, TX, Jessic Barta (Cody) of Ellsworth, KS and Austin Sommerfeld of Brookville, KS.
