He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Lawrence and Mathilda Sophia Christenson (Carlson); his wife Aileen Gene Anderson; and his siblings, Eunice Marie Hoffhines, Betty Margaret Slater and Amos Lawrence Christenson.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Roland Christenson (Margaret), Stuart Eugene Christenson (Cynthia) and Gayle Aileen Unruh (Eric); and his sister-in-law Erma Maxine Roberts. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
