He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Bernard and Hilma Matilda Pearson (Johnson); and his grandson Shane Gabriel Reazin. He is survived by: his wife Carol Ann Leischner; his children, Clay Pearson (Jennifer) of Pearland, TX, Jay Pearson (Candace) of Carrolton, TX and Lynn Reazin (Timothy) of Eudora, KS; his sister Irene Nielsen of Lindsborg; and his grandchildren, Ashton, Joshua Pearson, Caleb, Ezekiel, Nathaniel and Gabriel Reazin. He is also survived by nieces, nephew, extended family members, and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Messiah Festival Foundation at Bethany College.
