He was predeceased by: his father Johan Oscar; and his siblings, Rose Richard, Joyce Walker, John and Laurel.
He is survived by: his wife Arlene Patrick (Ternstrom); his children, Joleen Allen (David) of La Grange, GA, Kathryn Waters (Richard) of Burlingame, KS, James Patrick of Yuma, AZ, Susan Waked (Noman) of Amman, Jordan, Doris Ludek (Gregory) of Rochester, NY and Brenda Hockberger (Philip) of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, Patricia Roraback and Duane Patrick. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
