He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Leslie and Lula Katherine Van Amburg (McNall). He is survived by: his wife Helen Lavonne Young; his daughters, Karen Heller of Wichita, KS and Carol Sommers (Allon) of Manhattan, KS; and his brothers, Gerald Van Amburg (Janet) of Moorhead, MN and Larry Van Amburg (Lena) of Lindsborg, KS. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and his extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kearney Regional Medical Center.
