She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake Bernhardt and Mollie Bernhardt (Fromm); her husband L. D. "Jim" Ruhter; and her siblings, Gladys Bernahl, Mary Marlatt, Marvin, Walt and Floyd Bernhardt.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lori McMillan and Jean Moulton (John). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Gypsum Hill Cemetery (2020 E Iron Ave, Salina, KS 67401).
