With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Michael Opat of Lindsborg, Kansas, who passed away on August 18, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Opat and Roma Jean Opat (Johnson); his sister Diann; and his grandson Michael. He is survived by: his wife Eunice Wedel; his children, Christopher, William, Dylan, Karyee and Alyssa; and his siblings, Joseph Opat and Jane Balaun. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Mercy Children's Hospital or to St. Bridget of Sweden Catholic Church.
