He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Chester and Zeela Audrey Whetstone (Hall); and his sister Dorothy Davis. He is survived by: his wife Kristine Swenson; his daughters, Alisa Jones of Lindsborg, KS and Rachel Whetstone (Mechelle Martinez) of Manhattan, KS; his siblings, Carol Reed of McPherson, KS and Larry "Dean" Whetstone of Wichita, KS; and his grandchildren, Emily Jones and Trevor Jones. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, Tammy Walker Cancer Center, or to Lindsborg Community Hospital.
