She is survived by: her children, Sarah Suellen DeWitt and Matthew David Norden; her siblings, Bobby Gene Calahan and Lu Jacob; and her niece Shel Hughes (Carolyn). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lindsborg Evangelical Covenant Church (102 S Washington St, Lindsborg, KS 67456).
