She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Pauls and Helen Pauls (Regier); and her siblings, Verdalee Francz, Irene Pauls, Nelda Becker, Elvina Pauls, Harvey Pauls and Virginia Rahn.

She is survived by: her husband Everett Johnson; her daughters, Randi Gifford and Jane Yount (Greg); her grandchildren, Lisa Sewell (Damon), Matthew, Joshua and Andrea Yount; and her great grandchildren, Elijah and Lilyanna Sewell.
