She was predeceased by: her parents, Theron Hurlbut and Marillee Hurlbut (Pennell); and her daughter Melisa Zamecnik. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her sons, Monty Zamecnik (Cissy) of Minneapolis and Travis Zamecnik (Melinda); her grandchildren, Joshua, Justin and Jenna; her great grandchild Josie; and her sister Shelia Cockrell of Stony Point, NC..
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wilson Family Funeral Home (405 Argyle Ave, Minneapolis, KS 67467). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the United Church of Bennington (222 N Nelson St, Bennington, KS 67422).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Solomon Valley Hospice.
