Ray Rasmussen Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 19, 2025, at the age of 92, Ray Rasmussen of Lincoln, Kansas passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ray Rasmussen to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Rasmussen and Esther Rasmussen; his parents-in-law, Henrietta and Vernon Kilpatrick; his sister Joy; and his siblings-in-law, Elmer Jacobsen, Virginia Wickham and Don Kilpatrick.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Rasmussen; his children, Cheryl Rasmussen, Nancy Nordman (Troy) and Steve Rasmussen (Sandy); his brothers, Keith Rasmussen (Peggy) and Erik Rasmussen (Pam); his sister-in-law Matty Kilpatrick; and his grandchildren, Abby Phillips (Cody), Tyler Nordman (Stephanie), Nicholas Nordman (Taylor), Katy Jenkins (Jaylen), Corbin Rasmussen (Lindsey) and Cameryn Rasmussen. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Chapel Oaks Funeral Home (302 W Main St, Highland, KS 66035). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lincoln Cemetery (429 E South St, Lincoln, KS 67455).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the United Methodist Church in Lincoln, left in care of the funeral home, PO Box 33, Highland 66035.
