He is survived by: his wife Kerry Ann Isbell; his children, Larry Meybell (Mark) and Christen Blake (JP); his stepson Orrie Neriem; his grandchildren, Tyler, Haylee and Molly Blake; his siblings, Rosetta Hodges (Jerry) and James Isbell Jr. (Nicole); his former wife Deborah Jean Gawith; and his son Larry Lee.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Gold Prospectors Association of America, with checks made out to "LDMA - AU, Stanton".
