She was predeceased by: her parents, Wendelin Dinslage and Bernardine Dinslage (Uhing). She is survived by: her husband Robert Heinen (Bob); her children, Jennifer Heinen (Jenny) of De Soto, KS, Brian Heinen (Larry Gilbert) of Kansas City, KS, Todd Heinen (Stacy) of Overland Park, KS, Anthony (Tony) and Allison Heinen (Danielle) of Eudora, KS; and her siblings, Janice Priess (Russ) of Raymond, NE, Leroy Dinslage (Deb) of Seward, NE, Dennis Dinslage (Agnes) of West Point, NE, Sharon Wieneke and Lorraine Prusa (Dave) of Firth, NE.. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
Burial: Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Karen's name to METAvivor in care of Warren-McElwain Mortuary 120 W. 13th Street Lawrence, KS 66044, The family requests that social distancing and the wearing of masks be honored.
