He was predeceased by: his father Vance Gourley; and his sister-in-law Abby Gourley. He is survived by: his mother Mary Ann Gourley (Gratz) of Salina, KS; his wife Kelly Gourley (Larson) of Beverly, KS; his brothers, Michael Gourley, David Gourley of Land O' Lakes, FL and Steven Gourley (Erin) of Hinsdale, IL; his nieces and nephews, Mitchell, Andrew, Vance, Gisele and Willa; and his great-nieces, Myla and Ava.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parsons Funeral Home - Hall Chapel (111 E Elm St, Lincoln, KS 67455). A vigil service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (206 N 5th St, Lincoln, KS 67455). A burial was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at the Lincoln Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Post Rock Community Foundation, c/o, Hall Chapel, PO Box 37, Lincoln, KS 67455 to create a scholarship for others who would want to pursue a career in wildlife management, wildlife conservation, wildlife biology, and/or outdoor enterprise management.
