Viola Depperschmidt Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Viola Depperschmidt (Liebenthal, Kansas), who passed away on July 21, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Isidore Herrman and Albertina Herrman (Legleiter); her son John Depperschmidt; her son-in-law Terry Schaffer; and her siblings, Michael "Mike" Herrman and Lillian Leiker.
She is survived by: her husband Alfred "Fritz" Depperschmidt; her children, James Depperschmidt (Theresa), Mark Depperschmidt, Neil Depperschmidt, Melvin Depperschmidt, Paul "Beau" Depperschmidt, Cheryl Ann Resner (Gerald) and Ruth Schaffer; her grandchildren, Jennifer Gunder (Bob), Thomas Depperschmidt (Tammy), Emma Albert (Justin), Jacob Resner (Ashley), Matthew Resner (Stacie), Casey Schaffer (Jenice) and Lori Schaffer; and her siblings, William "Bill" Herrman, Henrietta Haselhorst, Mary Catherine Dreher and Georgiana Herrman. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family requests memorials to the St. Joseph's Catholic Church Steeple Fund, Liebenthal, Kansas.
