She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Carruth and Della Carruth (Drake); and her brothers, J. R. Carruth, Lonnie Carruth, Glen Carruth, Everette Carruth and David Carruth.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Kessler; her children, Kevin Kessler (Colleen) of Liberal, Karen Small of Liberal, Sharon Kessler of Fowler and Robin Witzke (Bill) of Holcomb, Kansas.; her siblings, Elton Carruth (Glenda) of Valley Center and Glenda Sue Starnes (Raymond) of Salina, Kansas.; her great grandchildren, Opal Mae Thompson, Rawlin Wayne Kessler, Liberty Zola Kessler, Krishantha Sahan Ranasinghe and Arlo Alan Jay Moore; and her sisters, Ella Pearl Carruth, Leona Fowler and Louise Owens.
