It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roscoe Hoddy (Liberal, Kansas), born in Eureka, Kansas, who passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roscoe Richard Hoddy Sr. and Evelyn Florence Hoddy (Thomas); his wife Estelene Ruth Heronemus; his grandson Richard Yorio; his great grandchildren, Kena and Kalen Baker; and his siblings, Freda Kincaid, Pamella Pully, Victor, Everett, Jerry Hoddy and Clinton.
He is survived by: his daughters, Melinda Baker (Richard) of Liberal and Katherine "Kat" Grandy of Tyrone, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Curtis Baker (Leslie) and Elizabeth Baker; his daughters, Tera Piper and Jamie McBride of Liberal; his siblings, Velma Zink of Spring Hill, Pauline Hawk and David Hoddy; and his siblings-in-law, Anna Means (JR) and Clarence Heronemus.
