He was predeceased by: his parents, Andres Maldonado and Milburga Maldonado (Villegas). He is survived by: his wife Maria Macias; his children, Jose Maldonado (Marisol) of Liberal, KS, Roberto Carlos Maldonado (Irene) of Liberal, KS, Javier Andres Maldonado (Lupe) of Fort Worth, Irene (Bruno) of Marquez, Isabel Perez (Nick) of Liberal, KS and Celsa Gabriela Gerardo; his siblings, Bernado, Esteban, Maria, Fidela and Marrgarita; and his children, Milburga Villegas Maldonado and Juan. He is also survived by 13 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller Mortuary Chapel (908 N Lincoln Ave, Liberal, KS 67901). A rosary was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church (1510 N Calhoun Ave, Liberal, KS 67901).
