He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Thomas and Thelma Thomas (Horn); and his stepbrother Rickey Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Joanna Thomas of Liberal; his stepchildren, Robert Rodriguez of Fort Stockton and Penny Rodriguez of Liberal; his siblings, Howard Johnson, David Thomas, Sue Bell, Barbara Antrim and Kathy Johnson; his grandchildren, Zenner Rodriguez Sumner and Kovin Rodriguez Sumner; his nephew David Alan Thomas; and his niece Tiffany Thomas.
Memorial Donations are suggested to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in care of Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
