She was predeceased by: her parents, James Finis Balentine and Oma Balentine (Smith); her husband Richard Smith; and her sister Jo Rita Childers. She is survived by: her sons, Tony D. Smith (Lisa) of Dallas and James E. Smith of New Mexico; and her grandchildren, Jason Smith, Colby Minchow and Matthew Minchow.
