We are sad to announce that on December 29, 2020, at the age of 88, Mary R. Clawson of Liberal, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Collingwood (Fred) and Edna Lesh Collingwood; her brother John Collingwood; her son Andrew Clawson; and her granddaughter Heidi Grace Clawson.
She is survived by: her husband Kirby; her children, Marilyn Giles (Greg) of Byers, KS, Dan Clawson (Tamra) of Meade, KS, David Clawson (Jeanne) of Englewood, KS, Kenby Clawson (Lana) of Satanta, KS and Mary Beth Woods (Brent) of Plains, KS.; her grandchildren, Abby Giles, Betsy Giles, Matthew Giles, Josiah Giles, Cooper Clawson (Leah), Jacqueline Clawson, Walker Clawson, Gatlin Clawson, Korben Clawson, Layne Clawson (Rachel), Ann Clawson, Carl Clawson, Kyla Larson (Brady), Kendal Clawson, Kurtis Clawson (Paige), Kathryn Spraggins (Corey), Adeline Woods, Emmett Woods and Audy Woods; and her sisters, Cynthia Saunders (R. D.) of Gillette, WY and Martha Barnhardt (Gordon) of Bucklin, KS. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Social distancing and masks are welcome at the service.
The family would welcome memorials to the Plains United Methodist Church or the charity of the donor's choice in care of the funeral home.
