He was predeceased by: his parents, Merrell Thompson and Betty Thompson (Nelson); and his brother David Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Cassandra Laforest of Joplin, MO, Lucas Thompson of Liberal, KS, Josh Thompson of Newport News, VA and Ryan Thompson; and his sisters, Bonnie Powell of Hooker, OK and Linda Sandoval of Guymon, OK. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
