It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucille Holmes of Liberal, Kansas, born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Holmes and Fannie Jackson Holmes (Jackson); her brother Billy Ray Jackson; and her daughter Lisa D. Williams. She is survived by: her sisters, Bernice Sullivan-James and Linda Turner of Pine Bluff; her grandchildren, Ta'Shara Holmes, Tony Boykins Jr., Terrence Holmes, Ta'Koya Hammond, Ta'Lesha Holmes, Terrell Boykins, Tieara Holmes, Kendra Ochoa, Kenneth Holmes Jr., Steven Gift, Keison Holmes, Tania Boykins, Tianna Boykins and Zayden Gift; and her great grandchildren, Sha'liza Boykins, Arianna Boykins, Tyren Holmes, Trenten Holmes, Ta'Nieccia Holmes, Ter'Anee Johnson, Tony Boykins III, Ta'Liyah Johnson, Jason Hammond Jr., Jordan Hammond and Atlas Holmes. She is also survived by many nieces/nephews.
