He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrosio Barragan and Alejandra Alday of Barragan; his brother German Barragan; and his stepsiblings, Aurelio Barragan and Celia Barragan.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Clara A. Acosta; his siblings, Fortino Barragan (Anita) of California, Nicacio Barragan (Marielena) of Liberal, Kansas and Maria Del Carmen Barragan (Miguel) of Lopez; and his stepbrother Fidel Barragan (Juanita Solorasano) of California. He is also survived by several Nieces & Nephews.
