We are sad to announce that on April 29, 2022, at the age of 58, John Allen Akers Jr. in Liberal, Kansas, born in Hugoton, Kansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Akers (Lowe); his grandparents, Steve, Virginia Akers, Roberta Lowe, Emmitt and Bernice Lowe; and his mother-in-law Dee Naifeh.
He is survived by: his father John Akers Sr. of Hugoton, KS.; his children, Eric Bauer (Karen) of Guymon, OK., Sean Bauer (Jenny) of Edmond, OK. and Bailey Kane (Carson) of Guymon, OK.; his former wife Katrina Akers of Guymon, OK.; and his grandchildren, Zeke, Gemma, Murphy, Miles, Willa and Cooper. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established for the St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Guymon.
