With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwendolyn Lewis of Liberal, Kansas, who passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gwendolyn shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gwendolyn farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Arthur Lewis; her son Jamison Lewis; her father Richard Dunlap, Jr.; her sister Tina Dunlap; and her grandmother Everleen Jordan.
She is survived by: her mother Magnolia Dunlap (Wilburn) of Liberal, KS; her children, Stefanie Lewis of Williston, ND, Eddie Lewis of Omaha, NE and Nicky Lewis of Wichita, KS; and her brother John Dunlap of Liberal, KS. She is also survived by 18 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
A burial will be held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Liberal City Cemetery (1900 W 15th St, Liberal, KS 67901).
