He is survived by: his parents, Rufus Turpin and Iona Turpin (Meyers); his children, Gregg Turpin (Jennifer Liberal), Joseph Turpin (Brenda Granbury) and Jana Turpin Norfolk; his siblings, Richard Turpin Seminole, Evelyn Snyder Canton and Laura Stockberger Ashville; his grandchildren, Christopher Turpin, Cody Smith, Brittney Colvin, Holly Owens, Audri Westbrook and Lyndi Hughes; his wife Janet Turpin; his siblings, Maywood Turpin, Whitley Turpin, Charles Turpin, Betty Hearn, Anna Angello, Carl Turpin, Gloria Arrant and Bill Turpin; and his grandson Grady Owens.
Burial will be in the Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, KS In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to the First Baptist Church, in Liberal, in care of the Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Liberal, KS 67901.
