She was predeceased by: her parents, Elven Rock and Lucy Rock (Fray); her former husband Leo Carter; her husband Leroy Maxwell; her daughter Cathy Rock; her siblings, Thomas (Cleta) and Eileen Mitchell (Paul); her nephews, Jim Mitchell and Tommy Rock of Beaver; and her niece Carol Sue Nightingale (Lucky) of Fredrick, MD.
She is survived by: her brothers, Danny and Doyle Glenn; her children, Linda Kimberly (Edward), Larry Carter (Cyndie), Lynden Carter (Lilia) and L. Randy Carter; her brother Robert (Verree) of Austin; her nieces and nephews, Terry Papadopoulos (Harry), Sandy Pierce (Randy), Julie Mumm (Randy) and Jennifer Rock (Arturo Solis); her daughter-in-law Cyndie Wakefied (Earl); her nieces and nephews, Jane Wampler (J. W.) of Annapolis, Robert Mitchell of Cape Cod, MA, Diana Rock of Greenbelt, MD, Judy Clifford (Pat) of Houston, JoAnn Olson (Tom) of Wichita, Gary Rock of Vancouver, WA and Denise Boyd (Ron) of Turpin; her grandchildren, Cathi Carter, Leo Carter (Tonya), Cherie Luken (Josh), Berakah Carter, Trevor Gonzales, Larcyn Carter (Desirae), Michelle Kimberly (Craig) and Michael Kimberly; and her stepgrandson Sean Prologo (Mandy). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
The family suggests donations to USD 480 for reading programs and to help students with food insecurity and/or to the South Church of God Food Bank.
