Dwight Doud Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dwight Doud of Liberal, Kansas, who passed away on August 26, 2021 at the age of 74. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Dwight Doud to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claudie Doud and Evelyn Doud (Taylor). He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Sagaser (Joshua) of Kansas City, MO; his brothers, Lawrence Doud (Sheryl) of Wichita, KS, Eldon Doud of Capron, OK and Marvin Doud (Susan) of Ringwood, OK; his granddaughters, Evelyn R Doud and Jeorjia Sagaser; and also Connie Jordan of Liberal, KS. He is also survived by Several Nieces & Nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family requests Memorials to Southwest Angel's for Animals in care of Miller Mortuary PO Box 826 Liberal, KS 67905-0826.

“My deepest condolences to All of Dwight's family and friends. I knew Dwight from 1980-83 while he was studying pottery from Montee Hoke at SWOSU. He was always a delight to be around with his raucous laughter and he was full of jokes for everyone. His love for throwing pots was as voracious as his love for dancing. And that's how he'll always be remembered in my mind. Love Always, PAT”

“I was a friend of Dwight’s during the time he spent in school at Southwestern Oklahoma State University studying pottery under Montee Hoke. I was close friends to him, Mike Stearman, and Hoke and we spent many hours together. I was greatly saddened by the notice that Dwight had passed, and send my condolences to his daughter Lisa, the rest of his relatives, and to Connie Jo, whose loving care must’ve comforted him greatly in his final years.
