He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Granite and Verna Granite (Patishnock); his wife Carolyn Kay Harris; his children, Michael James Granite of Wichita, KS and Alycia Ann Hitchcock (Will) of Olympia, WA; his granddaughters, Faith Renee Salyer (Braxton) of Bethany, OK and Laney Michele Hitchcock of Olympia, WA; his stepgrandsons, Josh Hitchcock and Adam Wheeler; and his sister Doris Shaw (Mick) of Snow Show, PA. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
