She was predeceased by: her parents, Euclide Ferland and Marie Ferland (Benoit); her husband Paul Rempe of Plainville; her son-in-law Larry Abbott; and her siblings, Julie, Raymond, Archie, Marcella, Levi and Gilbert.
She is survived by: her siblings, Jackie Steckline, Al Ferland, Loretta Zweifel and Betty Ferland; her close friend Paul; her family, Mary Abbott of Brighton, CO, Christine Marcy (Mike) of Leoti, KS, Robert Rempe (Belinda) of Mt. View, AR, Louise VanDyke, Anthony Rempe (Dawn) of Cartersville, GA, Daniel Rempe (Vonda) of Piedmont, OK and Colette Gilliland (Drew) of Gold Hill, OR; and her grandchildren, Brandi Bond (Ernest), Steven Marcy (Brandy), Brandt Abbott, Bill VanDyke (Alisha), Amanda Baker (Allen), Nichole Baker (Jason), Lance Rempe, Logan Rempe (Hannah), Garrett Rempe (Emily), Nate Rempe, Ike Gilliland and Andrea Gilliland. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church -Plainville (206 N Washington St, Plainville, KS 67663). A rosary will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
