He is survived by: his wife Mary Peggy; his children, Melinda Shimanek Shively (Tim) of Aurora, CO, Melissa Shimanek Ginther (Doug) of Hays, KS, Brian Shimanek (Kristin) of Montgomery, TX and Chris Shimanek (Erin) of Boca Raton, FL; his grandchildren, Madi, Drew, Grant, Hailey, Kenton, Grace, MaKayla, MaKenna, Allie, Gabe, Noah, Emmett and Sammie; and his siblings, Bernie Shimanek, Jim Shimanek, Rose Ann Shimanek Schovanec and Danny Shimanek.
