She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Burdett Patton and Gladys Marie Patton (Griffith); her husband Roger Porter; her children, Robert Porter (Malinda Kent), Todd (Mary Beth Porter), Brent (Janee Porter), Jaiden Porter of Leoti and McKenzie Porter of Leoti; her grandchildren, April Burrel, Nathan (Amber Porter), Bryer (Stacy Porter), Tristen Porter, Jentri Porter and Beau Porter; her great grandchildren, Christian Burrel, Barrett Porter, Gatlin Porter, Maverick Porter and Caryson Porter; her brother Duane (Sharron Patton); her parents-in-law, Alfred Clinton (Bill) and Gertrude Myrtle Porter (Betty); her brother Dennis Porter; and her great grandchild Brandon LaMaster.
Memorials may be given to the Marianne Porter Nursing Scholarship fund which will be given yearly to a Wichita County student, in care of Price and Sons funeral home, PO Box 161, Leoti, Kansas 67861.
