He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin "Bob" Vestal and Bertha Walker Vestal; and his siblings, Benjamin Vestal Jr., Peggy Uhrich, Carol Riker, Florence Thompson and Lawrence Vestal.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Vestal of Leoti; his children, Maxine Vestal-Lareau (Bradley), Manuel (Anita Vestal), Michael Thompson of Leoti, Terrie (Joe Wilcox), Mary (Jose Cortez), Rosa Vestal of Leoti, Violet Vestal of Leoti and Peggy Castillo of Garden City; his stepchildren, Bernabe, Tracy Montoya of Leoti, San Juanita M. and Lorenzo Salazar of Leoti; and his sisters, Verlene Showalter of New Orleans, LA and Patricia Bell of Ladson, SC.. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 16 step-great grandchildren.
