Vickie Burkman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vickie Burkman (Leonardville, Kansas), who passed away on April 27, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Junior and Mary Lena Steele (Beeler). She is survived by: her husband Galen Ray Burkman; her daughters, Sara Johnson (Ryan) of Olathe and Jennifer Burkman of Shawnee; her sisters, Donna Doggett (Gary) of Shawnee, Mary Griggs (Fred) of Leavenworth and Sandy Visentin (Pete) of Cheshire, Connecticut; and her grandchildren, Cale, Peyton and Steele. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Program at Children's Mercy in Kansas City.
