With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jessie Sundgren of Leonardville, Kansas, born in Fort Riley, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 26, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband Kermit Sundgren; her foster mother Doris Lundquist; and her brother-in-law Eldon Sundgren. She is survived by: her son Roger Sundgren (Kathy) of Leonardville; her sister Marla Gammill of Ponca City, Oklahoma; her sister-in-law Beverly Sundgren of Leonardville; and her grandchildren, Tina Deines, Matthew Sundgren, Shea Sundgren and Katherine Sundgren.
Memorials may be made to the Leonardville Nursing Home or Walsburg Lutheran Church Landscaping Fund and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
