It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Johnson of Leonardville, Kansas, who passed away on June 7, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Irving Johnson and Gerna Johnson (Siebold); and his brother-in-law Earl Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson of Leonardville; his children, Gregory Johnson (Sun) of Manhattan and Sue Knight (Mitch) of Leonardville; his siblings, Gail Johnson of Waterville, Mike Johnson (Cindy) of Leonardville and Sharrie Peterson of Keats; his grandchildren, Jesse Knight (Deidre) of Council Grove and Whitney Knight (Jeff Huber) of Leonardville; and his great grandchildren, Braelyn Grace Huber and Karson Lee Huber.
Memorials may be made to the Fairview Presbyterian Church and left in care of the Anderes-Pfeifley Funeral Home.
