He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Simmons and Vera Simmons (Reid); his wife Charlotte Remus; his granddaughter Anneliese of Bethesda, MD; his great grandchildren, Sam and Meg; his grandson Stephen (Amy) of Port Chester, NY; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Grace and Daniel (Zoe) of San Francisco, CA; his grandson Hank; his sister Mary Claire Stanners of Novi; and also, Violet, Sarah (Walter) of Washington, DC, Amelia and Madeline. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Bill respectfully requested memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Foundation.
