She was predeceased by: her parents, James Carol Pope and Dorothy Cleo Anderson Pope; and her brothers, James Anderson Pope and Paul Ross Pope. She is survived by: her husband Charles Jeffery Sweeney; her sons, Charles Alden (Edee), J. Adam (Tammy), Orin and Jimmy (Janelle); her grandchildren, Colby Beggs, Camryn Beggs, Audrey, C. Alex, Kimbal, Catherine, Jillian, Brigham, Sawyer, Emily, Alden, Harper, Holland and Mack Sweeney; her great grandchild Augustus McMillan; her siblings, C. Lorenzo Pope and Erma Pope Foltz; her mother-in-law Julia Sweeney; and her sister-in-law Janis Sweeney. She is also survived by cousins, nephews and nieces.
