With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stephen James Overman of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Columbus, Kansas, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Overman and Dorothy Overman; and his siblings, Craig Overman and Patty Overman-Dill. He is survived by: his wife Pam; his children, Chris Overman of El Paso, TX and Kelly Overman Herbster; his son-in-law Judd Herbster; his grandsons, Tyler and Blake Herbster of Mission Hills, KS; and his siblings-in-law, Lela Overman of Columbus, KS, David Dill of Maysville, MO, Pat, Don Simpson of Joplin, MO, Alison Armstrong and Mark Scudder of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest memorial contributions be directed to the National Kidney Foundation or KC Pet Project.
