She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Wayman and Frances Wayman; her brothers, Glenn Wayman and Charles Ronald; and her former husband Earl Carlson.
She is survived by: her husband Donald Savage; her children, Marcy Gansel (Chris) of Hill City and Greg Savage (Tiffany) of Lenexa; her grandchildren, Emily Gansel of Austin, Megan Walker (Colton) of Kansas City, Ethan Gansel of Glenwood Springs, Dylan Gansel of Hill City, Ben and Nick Savage of Lenexa; her great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Zella and Wesley Walker of Kansas City, Kansas; and also, Ricky, Michelle and Rob.
Donations in Sharon's memory can be made to the Graham County Public Library or the Hays Public Library.
