As Sharon Kay departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sharon Kay. Though Sharon Kay may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius McNitt (Neily) and Anna Laura McNitt (Klick) of Toronto, KS.; her sister Marilyn Weide (Willard); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Alice McNitt and Kay McNitt.
She is survived by: her friend Jan Detlefson of Olathe; and her brothers, Gary McNitt of Lake City, CO and Gordon McNitt (Marcia) of Yates Center, KS. She is also survived by three nieces, three nephews, and a growing number of great nieces and nephews; plus many dear friends.
