He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Trussell and Donna Trussell. He is survived by: his siblings, Cindy Deamos, Sheri Lindsey and Shawn Trussell; his children, Makaela Shorr and Travis Trussell; and his grandson London Shorr. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
