He was predeceased by: his stepfather Charles T. Lane; his mother Linda I. Lane; and his brother Michael P. Roush. He is survived by: his wife Sheila K. Roush; his children, Christina M. Roush, Robert J. Roush (Amanda) and Andrew T. Roush (Griselda); his grandchildren, Alison M. Roush, Emma K. Roush, Angel Lopez, Jonathan Lopez and Ayanna Lopez; and his siblings, David, Mark Roush, Diane Fagen, Lisa Roush and Debbie Lane.
