It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rick R. Mendoza of Lenexa, Kansas, born in Newton, Kansas, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Romero; and his brothers, Michael Mendoza and Fernando "Minga" Mendoza. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Mendoza (Craig); his children, Anastacia and James "Jimmy"; and his brother Victor Rey Guzman. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the Holy Spirit Catholic School tuition assistance scholarship or the St. James Academy Michael T Alex Legacy Scholarship.
