He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Lillian Duewel (Wally) and Wallace Carl Duewel; his wife Mary Duewel; his son Rick Duewel; his son-in-law Tom Guthrie; and his sister Dorothy Brownsberger.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Kit Duewel (Rick); and his children, Debbie Salem (David), Daniel Duewel (Lila), David Duewel (Dru), Beckie Shimabukuro (Rod) and Nathan Duewel (Rena). He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
