He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Phillis and Eunice Phillis (Clark); his brothers, Frank and Jerry; and his daughter Debra Cron.
He is survived by: his close friend Tommie Johnson-Phillis; his children, Pat Murphy, Penny Innis, David Phillis, Bernard Phillis and Mary Bland; his stepchildren, Lisa Johnson, Barbara Johnson, David Johnson, Kimberly Johnson and Steven Gengler; and his brother Don Phillis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.
