He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Chad Coen and Alex Carney. He is survived by: his wife Judy Bumgartner (Kuhns); his daughters, Christie Coen (Kevin), Beth Carney (Chris) and Amy Lieberman (Zach); his grandchildren, Jessica Coen, Christopher Coen (Keri), Cadey Carney-Goforth (Trevor), Jacob Lieberman and Caroline Lieberman; his great grandchildren, Isiah Coen, Brooklyn Coen, Gage Coen, Kain Coen, Bryn Coen and Amilia Coen; and his pet Maggie.
